Quart
OceanSolution®
contains no additives. It is an extract of clean ocean water
that comes ready to be mixed one part OceanSolution®
to 100 parts irrigating water. Ten gallons of mix
covers one acre. Ideal for hydroponics and soils well conditioned
to allow nutrients to reach the roots of plants easily.

Grow your wheat grass or other sprouts s with a 90 mineral solution.
This ocean extract is a 100 to 1 concentration: 1 oz makes 1 gallon
of solution.
The ocean is the only source where most of the known elements are
in a perfectly balanced solution. Pure unadulterated seawater contains
90+ elements in an inorganic crystalloid solution ready to be absorbed
by a plants roots.
Ocean Solution is a plant and seed nutrient extracted from clean,
pure ocean water, utilizing a non-heat, non-chemical process.
How often crops are fertilized with OceanSolution depends on the type
of soil and crop, and the stage the latter is in. First, if the soil
is heavy (such as clay), we recommend fertilizing only two or three
times a year. If the growing area is sandy loam, one could feed the
plants daily or weekly. Hydroponically, we feed the roots OceanSolution®
twice a day from seedling through full crop.
Suggested dilution ratio is 100 parts pure water (rain, R.O., de-ionized,
filtered or distilled) to 1 part OceanSolution® for most farm
and hydroponics operations. OceanSolution® can be used in most
primary feeding regimes as well as number of supplemental applications.
We strongly recommend the use of open pollination seeds for optimal
results. Genetically engineered and hybrid seeds are often bred with
increased demand for certain macro-elements (such as NPK) which will
need to be added to meet the plants demand.
Water and soil analyses are useful in determining dilution ratios
and the frequency of application. Since the nutrient solution and
pH are balanced, the concern for burning plants is much less than
with traditional fertilizers.
It
is beneficial to soak your seeds before planting, for 8-24 hours in
the solution mixture.
HYDROPONICS (100:1) - suitable for all types of feeding operations
- .Most
crops require feeding once a day
- Recycled
solution can be used for up to one month
- Small
amounts of diluted concentrate can be added to the nutrient solution
periodically
- Extra
NPK is probably necessary for most plants.
SOIL
(100:1) Depending on plant needs, drainage and nutrient depletion
- Sandy
or well-drained soils may be fed more frequently: once a day to
twice a week
- Loam
or rich soils that retain significant moisture: twice a week to
twice a month
- Clay
to dense, clogged soils that trap water and nutrients: once or twice
a year
HERBS
(100:1)
- Feeding
can vary from 1-3 times a week to 1-2 times a day depending on the
plant needs, climate conditions and soil/medium drainage.
WHEATGRASS
AND SPROUTS (100:1)
- Feeding
will vary: 1-3 times per day
PASTURES
(100:1)
- 100
gallons of diluted solution per 10 acres: see general directions
with respect to soil types. Most pastures can handle up to 200 gallons
of dilute per 10 acres. Sandy soils use less, but apply more frequently.
FLOWERS
(150-200:1)
- Flowers
need a lighter concentration. Follow same directions for soil types.
Foliar spraying should be avoided with delicate flowers like orchids.
Feed the roots.
House
Plants (125-200:1)
- Feed
with OceanSolution® mixture every 2nd or 3rd watering.
Feed
your plants according to the directions given above for your soil
type -- more frequently for sandy soils, and very infrequently for
heavy clays.
OceanGrown
goes well out to sea to extract it's liquid OceanSolution from the
clean sea. And, once back on shore has each batch tested for pathogens,
with results recorded by an independent laboratory
