A
guide for transitioning to a plant based living foods diet
This
is not simply a cookbook, nor a raw recipe book. Rather it is a motivator
and guide for lifestyle changes.
It
is not meant to be read for enjoyment, but rather used for enjoyment
of a richer, fuller more abundant lifestyle. Our desire to change is
what motivates us to make changes. For changes to happen, we must first
make a decision to augment major changes in attitude, languaging and
self talk. Without the proper raw material to fuel the human body, it
will break down, slow down and eventually shut down. If we do not have
top grade, high octane fuel cursing through the veins, arteries, feeding
the digestive and nervous systems, eventually muscle and skeletal deterioration
take their toll, we become lethargic, full of apathy or anxiety and
eventually fall into deep depression.
When
the brain, the liver and rest of the organs are overpopulated with heavy
metals, candida and parasites, and the colon is bloated and blocked
with putrid waste, diseases manifest and we feel even more helpless
and out of control.
Changing
one's diet to include a very strong base of plant derived foods straight
from Mother Nature and eating them in their uncooked living state every
time we put something to eat in our mouths, will invariably lead to
a more sane lifestyle for all. Add to this, a safe, plentiful water
supply, and lots of movement outdoors whenever possible, as well as
taking joy in self expression through singing, dancing and other forms
of playall these are liberating and nourishing for the human psyche.
As
a party planner, I'm around all sorts of foods every day. And as an avid
meat eater for the last 40 years, I had no idea that a vegetarian (in
fact "raw" menu) could be so tasty and satisfying. Now I know
the secrets of Popeye and Superman! When I eat predominantly raw green
vegetables, I have so much energy that I can run, run, run!
