Softcover

A
practical guide to using the natural power of enzymes to maximize your
health.
Enzymes
sustain life. They are basic to the process of digestion, as well as
to nutritional absorption, tissue repair, immune system function, and
much more. They even slow the aging process. Any significant depletion
of these vital enzymes in our bodies can have a detrimental impact on
our well-being. Maintaining the right enzyme levels, therefore, is essential
for good health. Unfortunately, given the enzyme-poor "overprocessed"
diet we live onand the growing amount of enzyme-inhibiting chemicals
found in our food supply and environmentfew of us have the enzymatic
reserve that would allow our systems to operate at their optimal levels.
Researchers throughout the world have learned a great deal about how
various enzymes work. The Complete Book of Enzyme Therapy was
written to help you understand and use the power of enzymes to maximize
your health and combat a host of common disorders, ranging from allergies
to cardiovascular disease to indigestion to stress.
The
Complete Book of Enzyme Therapy is divided into three parts. Part
One give a clear picture of enzymeswhat they are, what they do,
and how they can be depleted in our foods and in the body. It explains
how you can design an enzyme-rich diet, and when, why, and how enzyme
supplements may be taken. It also provides information about those nonenzyme
supplements that are most helpful in optimizing the effectiveness of
enzymes. Part Two explains how enzyme therapy can be used for the treatment
of disease and provides enzyme therapy programsincluding vitamins,
minerals, herbs, and several other nutritional supplementsfor
over 150 disorders. Part Three presents other complementary therapies
that can be incorporated into your enzyme treatment program.
Enzyme
therapy is safe and effective. The Complete Book of Enzyme Therapy
can help you and your family achieve the best health possible through
the use of enzymes and other nutritional supplements.
