"FREEDOM"
IS NOT a word usually associated with diets. In fact, the last
thing anyone on a conventional diet feels is a sense of freedom.
This is one of the major differences between the raw and living
food diet and every other diet.
Prior
to discovering this way of eating, there was never a time in my
life when I felt freedom from food - whether I was on a diet or
not. I would start a diet believing that I would have control
over my food
intake, and that I would be able to exercise restraint over my
food choices. My constant hope was that I would lose weight and
that any food addictions I had would simply vanish. I felt that
once I lost the desired weight, I would no longer always be thinking
about the food I couldn't have.
I
would anticipate the day when I would no longer dream of or have
cravings for foods such as chocolate cake, pizza, or ice cream.
However,
these thoughts didn't go away. Even when I told myself
that I would not diet - that I would let myself eat whatever I
wanted, in moderation, to avoid that feeling of deprivation -
food was always on my mind. Sometimes more intensely than other
times, but it was always there. I couldn't bring myself
to forget about food. Rare were the times when I wasn't thinking
about my next meal!
GOING
RAW: A LIBERATION
Once
I went raw, I felt, for the first time in my life, completely
liberated from food. I just don't think about food the
way I used to. I don't plan my days around what I eat. I don't
agonize over whether or not I'm eating the right foods. I don't
have to, because I know that whatever I choose to eat,
it's a good choice.
If
I want to eat fruit, a meal, or a dessert, I just do it,
and that's it.
I
don' have food cravings anymore. And I don't have that fear of
wanting to eat and then not being able to stop. Raw and living
food gives one's body everything it needs to feel perfectly and
nutritionally satisfied.
The
raw and living food diet will give you greater health, boundless
energy, and increased natural beauty. And it will free
you from the bondage of food!
