Albert
Earl Carter invariably convinces his critics, even those in
the medical profession, that his Healthy Cell Concept is
the best way to total health. All of Carter's research is scientifically

Albert
Earl Carter attended Oklahoma State University on a full scholarship
for wrestling. He completed his college work as a full scholarship
wrestler at the University of Utah, qualifying twice for Olympic
competition in wrestling. He was all-around gymnastic champion
in Montana, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. In 1974 and
1975, his Gymnastic Fantastics professional trampoline team gave
over 500 performances to more than half a million spectators.
Recognizing
that his extraordinary good health and superior strength was connected
to his work on the trampoline, Carter set out to find out why
the human body reacts so positively to rebounding. He developed
The Dyna-Bound, a home-sized rebound exerciser, and published
his book, The Miracles of Rebound Exercise in 1979. Rebounding
was the springboard. The Healthy Cell Concept presented in The
New Miracles of Rebound Exercise and The Cancer Answer
is the result of over a decade of research on all the components
necessary to perfect health.
As
a lecturer and educator, Carter has appeared on national television
in the US, Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. In 1983,
by special invitation of the Hong Kong government, Carter was
retained to teach the 35,000 members of the police and fire departments
The Healthy Cell Concept and the benefits of rebounding. He has
presented his concepts to numerous medical groups worldwide. Today,
Carter is recognized as the originator of The Healthy Cell Concept

It
was not too long ago, say mid '70s, if you saw somebody running in the
middle of a busy city, it was because the police were after him. In
fact, it was just before Dr. Kenneth Cooper introduced us to the word
'aerobics'. That was the beginning of the exercise explosion. Accountants,
bankers, doctors and other blue and white collar workers could now calculate
'aerobic points'. Nike of Beaverton, Oregon invented the 'spikeless
running shoe' and America was off to the races. Marathons and ten-K's
here we come! We have been running ever since, although there is good
evidence showing that running is not what it was supposed to be - a
utopian exercise.
This
book is not being written to run down running, weight lifting, aerobic
dance, calisthenics, or any other form of exercise. We choose not to
run down other activities simply because it is not necessary. If your
type of exercise is injurious, ineffective, or inconvenient you'll find
out soon enough. When you do, you'll be looking around for something
to take its place because, most of the time, people are healthier, happier
and feel better about themselves and the rest of their world when they
are involved with a good exercise program. At the very least, you will
find that rebounding is an excellent adjunct to your already ongoing
exercise program.

LaVerne Groff Story
"
'And they lived happily ever after'. Some fairy tales end that way, but
the first seven years of my married life were a nightmare. I was in and
out of hospitals more times than I could remember. Less than a year after
we were married, my ovary had ruptured and I was bleeding internally.
The removal of half the ovary was followed a year later by another operation
which removed the other half. Some things come in threes. It was less
than a year later and I was back in the hospital for my third operation.
This time I lost half of the other ovary. In the recovery room, my heart
stopped. The quick action of the staff started it beating again.
"After
everything my body went through, I guess I don't blame it for just giving
up. My nerves and muscles no longer functioned. I became a vegetable for
over two moths. Someone had to feed me because I didn't have strength
to even lift my arms, and walking was impossible. My back muscles were
so weak that I was in constant pain. As I began to learn how to walk all
over again, I desperately prayed, 'Oh, Lord, Isn't there any hope for
me?'
"The
Lord does answer prayers. Shortly thereafter, my husband and I were introduced
to rebound exercise while attending a self-help clinic. Dr. Corwin West
gave us therapeutic instructions and we took a rebounder home with us.
"At
first, I had to sit on the rebounder with my husband standing behind me
providing the bounce. In a few weeks, I found I could sit and rebound
myself by moving my arms. Soon I could stand and gently bounce. As the
months went by, I could feel the strength coming back. It was almost like
climbing out of a dark grave into a meadow of flowers. I was glad to be
alive! Not only were my arms and legs getting stronger, I could actually
feel my insides getting stronger. My pain was disappearing. After using
the rebounder for a year, we wouldn't give it up for all the world. I
want everyone to know this is the best thing for eliminating pain without
pills. I am now rebounding up to 15 minutes several times a day and feel
just wonderful."
NOTE:
LaVerne Groff gave birth to a six-pound baby a few months after writing
her story for us. Because of her previous health problems, her doctors
were on the lookout for complications, but they found the baby to be perfectly
healthy. Needless to say, Dad is just as proud as a peacock!
