
Chef
Suzanne Alex Ferrara
is an artist, chef, and yoga instructor. She was born in Berkeley,
California, and currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In 2001, Chef Alex was part of the original development team
for the renowned raw food restaurant Roxanne's in Larkspur,
California.
Chef
Alex honed her food skills as owner and manager of a juice
bar and restaurant, purveyor of a natural food store, and
head of her own vegetarian/vegan cooking school. She has catered
for Caribbean sailboat cruises, consulted on recipes for specialty
restaurants, and written a weekly food column featuring vegetarian
and vegan recipes.
She
has also exhibited her sculptures and paintings in New York,
Florida, New Mexico, and California, and her work is collected
internationally. As an artist, she brings her love of vibrant
color to the raw food table.
