Ann Wigmore was born in Lithuania in 1909 and raised by her grandmother.

Ann spent many years experimenting with food to find a way to grow simple, healthy, and inexpensive indoor greens, now known as sprouting. Many of her philosophies are as old Hippocrates, who taught that if given the correct nourishment, the body would heal itself.

With a desire to share her knowledge, Wigmore authored over fifteen books, distributing over one million copies. During her life she lectured in twenty different countries, and with her work of healing, has given a greater understanding and appreciation of the healer within.
