Softcover - 230 pages

Secrets of an Alkaline Body is the follow-up to David Jubb, Ph.D., and Annie Jubb's LifeFood Recipe Book, which introduces a nutritional lifestyle that advocates eating only food with intact life force—food that retains its life force field and grows wild in nature. This book is an expansion on the concepts of LifeFood, educating the reader about the biology behind the nutrition. A thorough explanation of colloidal biology and how body and food interact are presented matter-of-factly. The Jubbs do not mince their words. They are on a mission to teach people how to sustain the youthful energy and exuberance that fade as we age. They maintain that we have the power to effect change in our energy levels and keep our bodies young and able by making good nutritional choices. Concepts include:

  • the foundations of LifeFood Nutrition
  • how to maintain the appropriate alkaline balance in the body
  • the role of life colloids in our diet
  • cell rejuvenation
  • the healing power of LifeFood Nutrition

Respect for nature is paramount to the ideas and information in this book. Secrets of an Alkaline Body advocates adopting a lifestyle that is in tune with nature, thus supporting the health and sustainability of threatened ecosystems. The Jubbs promote taking responsibility for our food choices, and embracing the power to heal ourselves and our planet through LifeFood Nutrition.

"More than a new way of eating, the diet that Annie Jubb preaches is also a matter of conscience. Jubb advocates the art of self-healing through a natural diet and is in the process of becoming a heroine in New York after Donna Karan's 35-pound weight loss as a result of adopting the LifeFood diet."
