Known
as “The Bowl Lady”, Che’usa uses her private collection

A
friend in South Australia shared with her the idea of ‘perpetual
choirs’. It seems that throughout the European continent
in ancient times, groups gathered to chant ‘perpetually’
- in Glastonbury alone there were 2400 people involved. . . 100
an hour would go into the sacred temple and chant ancient tones,
then the next 100 . . . then the next . . . continually chanting.
And in the opinion of the Englishman who has written much about
this ancient technique. . . chanting is what ‘held’
the en-chant-ment vibration of Camelot! (“Fairy tales do
come true . . . it can happen to you . . . “)
The
use of Quartz Crystal Sound goes hand-in-hand with any type of

Quartz crystal bowls were originally produced for the computer industry.
They are used as the ‘oven’ in a process designed for growing
the silicon crystal chips used in the computers. Each crystal bowl is
made of 99.8% silicon quartz. One reason why the pure tones vibrate
our body is that our bodies have a natural affinity to quartz. The human
body is composed of many crystallite substances: the bones, blood and
DNA are crystalline in structure as well as the liquid crystal-colloidal
structure of the brain. Even on a molecular level, our cells contain
silica, which balances our electro-magnetic energies, and this is the
same formula as natural quartz crystal.
Many cultures recognize the importance of music and sound as a healing
power. In the ancient civilization of India, the Orient, Africa, Europe
and among the Aboriginals and Amerindians, the practice of using sound
to heal and achieve balance from within has existed for many years.
The Tibetans still use bells, chimes, bowls, and chanting as the foundation
of their spiritual practice. In Bali, Indonesia, the echoing gamelang,
gong, and drum are used in ceremonies to uplift and send messages. The
Australian Aboriginals and Native American shamanists use vocal toning
and repetitive sound vibration with instruments created from nature
in sacred ceremony to adjust any imbalance of spirit.
The priests
of ancient Egypt knew how to use vowel sounds to resonate the energy
center or chakras of the body. There is a direct link between different
parts of the body and specific sounds. During the time of Atlantis,
the power of sound was combined with the power of crystal. The American
psychic, Edgar Cayce and the German philosopher, Rudolf Steiner both
predicted ‘pure tones will be used for healing before the end of
the 20th century’.
The frequency at which an object or person MOST NATURALLY vibrates is
called 'resonance'. The chakras, bones and organs in the body all possess
a different resonant frequency. When an organ or part of the body is
vibrating out of tune or unharmoniously, it is called a "dis-ease".
A body is in a healthy state of being when each cell, each organ creates
a resonance that is in harmony with the whole being. Sound by-passes
our intellect and touches our emotions . . . and it is THERE that healing
can occur. Sound opens us up. It truly is Vibrational Medicine.* Our
frequency vibration has governed our perceptions and thus, our truth.
The body is made up of cells, cells are made up of atoms and atoms are
nothing more than vibrating frequencies of energy. The single biggest
factor in letting in more energy is to do so through our cells.
Through the
crystal resonance as the sound effects brain wave activity one can travel
into an altered state of consciousness. As diffrent parts of the brain
are affected, it is probable that they release differnt hormones and
neuro-chemicals which can suppress pain, strengthen willpower in one's
creative talents and overcome addictions. Eva Rudy Jansen, in her book
Singing Bowls 1990, documented the effect of Tibetan metal bowls. "It
was possible to record the waves produced by singing bowls. It was found
that among the wave patterns of different singing bowls there is a measurable
wave pattern which is equivalent to the alpha waves produced by the
brain.
