Loreta
Vainius was born in Germany of Lithuanian parents. She received
a Master's Degree in Foods and Nutrition from New York University.
In 1991 she began studying the principles of living foods with
Ann Wigmore at the Ann Wigmore Institute in Boston and Puerto
Rico. She continued her studies at the Hippocrates Health Institute
and currently works with the Center for Advancement in Cancer
Education in Wynnewood, PA. Loreta is based in eastern Pennsylvania
where she consults and teaches workshops. |

In
this instructonal video Loreta Vainius teaches everyone, no matter
their age or experiencce, how to set up a functional indoor garden
of organically grown greens and sprouts. With simple lessons, Loreta
takes you through the entire process from seed to sprout, including
composting and growing earthworms
As
a mother of three children, for may years her focus was raising her
family. In 1993 Loreta was diagnosed with first degree heart block
from Lyme's disease. She drew on the knowledge she had learned from
Ann Wigmore about the healng power of wheatgrass, sunflower and buckwheat
greens. Growing and eating these greens strengthened her immune system
and helped her make a full recovery. Loreta has made it her life's
work to share the powerfully healing and rejuvenative benefits of
living foods.
