Raw Food Master Chef
Aris La Tham has been a vegetarian for 34 years and a living "raw"
food vegan for the past 28 years. He was voted one of the top Vegetarian Chefs
in the USA by Vegetarian Times Magazine. Vegetarian Gourmet, Health Quest, Upscale,
Essence and Japans Tarzan Fitness Magazines, and the Washington Post are
just a few publications in which he has appeared. Aris was the featured Chef
at the Raw Food Culinary Masters Showcase at Swept Away Resort. He has served
as an Executive Food Service Consultant at Strawberry Hill Resort and is currently
engaged in the training of vegan & raw food chefs for major international
resorts & hotels. His healing & nutritional services are available through
the "Sunfire" Detox & Health Spa in St Mary, Jamaica.
Aris was born in the Panama Canal Zone, a direct descendant of an African West
Indian Family of culinary masters who has become a renowned crusader in the
area of wholesome foods. He is a graduate of the California State University
at Fullerton with a Masters Degree in Linguistics and a former administrator
in Bilingual Education. Aris is the originator of Sunfire Cuisine and Paradise
Pies. Sunfired Foods has been featured by Black Entertainment Television (BET),
Temple University Medical School Forum, The Organic Food Producers Association
of North America, The Family Channel's Body By Jake, CNBC: Alive & Wellness,
ABC: Eyewitness News and CBS News. Aris was the Master Chef at the Hippocrates
Health Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. Sunfire Cuisine delicacies have
been catered to numerous celebrities & dignitaries including Justice Sandra
Day O'Connor, Barbara Streisand, Dennis Weaver, Dick Gregory, Dexter King, Marilyn
and Harvey Diamond, Angela Bofil, Lyanla Vanzant, Victoras Kulvinskas, Eryka
Badu, Jesse Jackson, Ben Vereen, Dr. Neil Barnard, Aley Sheedi, Philip Michael
