I am not a practitioner of any kind so cannot advise you about your friend's baby.

Please accept the following only as an exchange of information and ideas.

Is the child getting breast fed? This is one of the most important things that mothers can do for their babies. The colostrum available in first mother's milk provides protective qualities that cannot be duplicated. In former times, when a mother was not able to nurse, there was such a thing as wet nurses. A practical and natural substitute. Today, babies are put on questionable cooked cow's milk or cooked soy milk formula. This could be the root cause of the baby's problems.

Also, if the baby is on formula, besides the formula being cooked and possibly having some other additives in there (I haven't looked at a label recently), milk and soy both have GMOs in them unless they are organically grown. GMO contamination results from the genetic engineering of soybeans (or any plant), either by making the plant herbicide resistant which allows the greater use of herbicides or by splicing in a BT gene (bacillus thuringiensis), which is a soil based pesticide. In BT plants, every cell of the plant expresses this pesticide. With milk they are injecting the cows with a genetically engineered hormone called rBGH (recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone). rBGH is outlawed in Canada and Europe.

There is a naturopathic doctor, who is also into the raw food lifestyle, in Port Charlotte. I have not met him, but on my recent trip to Florida, someone recommended him highly. His name is Dr. Robert Morse - (941) 255-1979.
