Just went 100% raw 2 weeks ago. I have some questions. I have been very tired
these past 2 weeks. Is that normal? When will it end. Am I doing something wrong?
Is there other things I should be doing or eating to get me past this rock in
the road. I would appreciate any advise you have.
Thank
You,

Dear
Jessica,
I am not a practitioner of any kind so please accept the following only
as an exchange of ideas and information.
The reason you are feeling fatigue is because the raw food is releasing a lot
of toxicity into your blood stream. Your body is in a detoxification process
and it is perfectly normal. When it will end depends on how much toxicity there
is to be released and also on any additional things you do to help yourself
along. What are these adjuncts to healing? Below I list a few.
Enemas or Colonics
Juice Fasting
Drink 2 quarts of filtered water daily
Jump on Mini Trampoline (this moves the lymph system - the lymph system collects
impurities in the body)
Deep Breathing in fresh air
Get some sunshine on your body everyday
Hatha Yoga (helps in detoxification of body organs)
Body Brushing 5 minutes at least once a day (this also helps the lymph system
and the circulation) Yerba
Prima makes an excellent skin brush for this purpose out of tampico fiber.
Get some pH paper and check the alkalinity of your saliva. Do it on an empty
stomach for accurate results.
Read
some books on the acid and alkaline balance in the body. When a body is fatigued
that means there is too much acid in the system. You have to return the body
to an alkaline state. Acid = dis-ease. Alkalinity = health.
If the detoxification symptoms get too extreme, consider the following:
1) Go to a Raw Food Institute for a week or two. There, you will be concentrating,
along with others, solely on your detoxification, as well as learning all the
different facets of the raw foods diet and lifestyle.
2) Slow down the detox by adding in some cooked food temporarily. Now if you
add in the wrong kind of cooked food, like junk food, or meat or fried food,
you will stop the detoxification process entirely. If you add in some lightly
steamed vegetables, the detox will continue but only at a much slower pace.
I hope this has been of some help. Good luck.
With blessings and peace,
Rhio
