Hello.
My name is Carol. I am 57 years old and recently mis-diagnosed with avascular
necrosis, then re-diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I am told that damage has been
done to the bone itself over the last year and a half (fast progressing), with
50 % of the ball having been destroyed from the effects of the arthritis. I
am wondering if you have had anyone come thru your institute who was scheduled
for hip replacement and experienced enough healing to forego the surgery. I
know each case is different. I am trying to find any last avenue before I go
under the knife. I am told I will probably need one and perhaps two hip replacements.
Thank you for your time.
Carol
Dear
Carol,
I am sorry to hear about your health problems.
I do not have an institute. I only provide information on the raw food diet
and lifestyle as well as information on alternative ways to achieve health on
my website.
I am not a practitioner of any kind so cannot advise you about your diagnosis.
Please accept the following only as an exchange of information and ideas.
I do not think that there is a quick fix for your situation. If you were to
decide to make dietary and lifestyle changes, from my experience and observation,
I do believe that you could turn it around but it seems (from your note) that
you are looking for a speedy solution, otherwise you are going to take the doctor's
remedy of hip replacement.
The people to contact if you want to know about other people in your same situation
who have turned themselves around is the Hippocrates Health Institute in West
Palm Beach, Florida. They publish a newsletter and in it there are many, many
testimonials from people who have fully recovered their health, reversing diverse
ailments. The Institute also had (or has) a radio show where they interview
people about their experiences on the raw food diet and their recovery. The
show also provided information on the Hippocrates program. You can get the contact
info for the Hippocrates Health Institute in my Directories section under Raw
Lifestyle Centers. Look in Florida.
It took many years for your bones to deteriorate in this manner and it is only
reasonable that it will take some time for a reversal to occur.
My best advice is for you to get yourself under the care of a physician who
understands the relationship between food (preferably raw/live food or at least
whole food), exercise, sunshine, fresh air, clean water, peace of mind, joy
and... health.
Wishing you renewed health and the best of everything good.
With blessings and peace,
Rhio
